well, my last post was one of elation over the fact the penguins had advanced to the third round of the nhl playoffs against philadelphia. well, we smoked them in 5 games to advance to the finals for the first time in 16 years. we were playing detroit, who i hate b/c of [...]

booyah.  pittsburgh pulled it off today and smoked the new york rangers in the fifth game of the series.  in overtime.  it was awesome.  now we play philadelphia in the next round.  they’ll be tough, but i think we should be able to pull it off.
man, i’m so stoked.

so all the snow we had last weekend melted by sunday. it hit 20 degrees over the weekend and that got rid of everything.
had a decent week weather wise this week. it warmed up to 15 degrees on thursday, so that was pretty nice. then it started snowing again yesterday (friday) morning. [...]

so this weekend was alright.  drank too much by myself on friday night.  spent all day saturday in my apartment recovering and watching lots of tv and smallville.  finished season 4.  now i have to go buy seasons 1 & 2.  next weekend maybe.

well, they lost.  which sucks.  a lot.  we were on 17th waiting to party down, but it never happened.  after they lost, we went out on the red mile, and it was cool, b/c everyone was just happy about how well calgary had played in the playoffs, but they still lost, and that sucked.  oh [...]
