well, my last post was one of elation over the fact the penguins had advanced to the third round of the nhl playoffs against philadelphia. well, we smoked them in 5 games to advance to the finals for the first time in 16 years. we were playing detroit, who i hate b/c of [...]

booyah.  pittsburgh pulled it off today and smoked the new york rangers in the fifth game of the series.  in overtime.  it was awesome.  now we play philadelphia in the next round.  they’ll be tough, but i think we should be able to pull it off.
man, i’m so stoked.

so all the snow we had last weekend melted by sunday. it hit 20 degrees over the weekend and that got rid of everything.
had a decent week weather wise this week. it warmed up to 15 degrees on thursday, so that was pretty nice. then it started snowing again yesterday (friday) morning. [...]

well, it’s tuesday night, which means it’s server maintenance night for world of warcraft, so i figure i might as well update this little blog here.
not much has really been going on out here.  kind of just winding time down until the end of [...]

and pittsburgh’s going to lose their 4th game in a row.

well, it was bound to happen sooner or later, but pittsburgh’s winning streak is over.  they had won 5 straight for the first time in years, but ran into a hot san jose team.  oh well, i can take the loss, considering i’m just hoping for a .500 season from them this year.
